The Flirt - Mix 

something a little different (cheesier) than usual.....

 

This mixtape is a little bit out of touch with what Dontfakethebreaks normally is about.

I have always picked up Danish 60s and 70s stuff that looked like it could contain something funky or odd – it could be samples, breaks or tunes to use for Dj-ing.

Recently I began listening through my Danish 80s disco/synth/boogie-looking records 

Listening through them - I must admit that I have picked up A LOT of misses...

The disco/boogie scene in Denmark was very small – at least when it come to releases.

The tunes in this mix is a little of everything.... (mostly cheeseness)

Not really a disco-mix but more like pop tunes that sounds like they intented a little more than just the normal pop-sound of the times, and flirts with influences from disco/boogie/synth/wave/cosmic.

I tried to include tunes that (as far as I know) still are relatively undiscovered or at least not very known ....and then again maybe there is a reason for them being lost in obscurity... 

Tunes are mostly from private releases, or on very small labels.

IT`S ODD, A "LITTLE" CHEESY BUT CHARMING - IN MY OPINION OF COURSE. 

ANYWAYS - GIVE IT A LISTEN AND BE DISGUSTED OR HUMORED....
