LATEST "FLEE-FIND" : TWO CHEESY LATIN RECORDS
ONE WITH A MASSIVE B-BOY BREAK - OTHER WITH A WIERD 77 RAP/SCAT TRACK

I took a chance on theese two albums last week at a garage-sale. Both looking pretty cheesy :

Rulli Rendo
"disco mambo con Rulli Rendo" LP
and
Jack Parnell "Braziliana" LP.
After a quick needledrop I was just about to trash the records.

For some reason I gave them a second spin and discovered that the track "Deixa Isso pra la" on the Jack Parnell album sounds a little like a pre-rap-era-track!!!
It could be that he is just scatting but I thougt he sounded so offbeat, that I took it as an attempt to rap. I am probably wrong, since I dont even understand portuguese......and it was released in 1977.....
The Rulli album includes a cover of "Mambo no 5" which shines throug - but in and between, the track breaks down in a b-boy style breakbeat!!!! pretty awesome!!
Dont know anything about the artists and I have not tried to find any info - as the albums as a whole has nothing to offer other than your average cheasy-lounge-disco-latin-tracks of the worst kind.......In my opinion that is.
But check out the tracks - (I have jumped throug the Mambo no 5 track to save you from too much cheasyness - the track is 11mins long....)
